No game is without its flaws, and even the titles we cherish can have aspects that frustrate us. Recently, I immersed myself in the world of God of War Ragnarok. While I am captivated by its stunning art style, compelling performances, and rich world-building, I find myself struggling with the crafting, gear, and talent system. These elements often feel cumbersome and detract from the overall experience, leaving me yearning for a more streamlined approach.
Reflecting on another beloved game, Civilization 5, I have always wished it had shifted its focus away from the science-oriented gameplay meta. While the mechanics are engaging, the heavy emphasis on technological advancement sometimes overshadows other strategic elements that could enhance the experience.
