How to Unlock Every Red Brick in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

The latest Lego Batman adventure is packed with secrets, and the most valuable collectibles are the Red Bricks. These special items unlock cheats and bonuses that make the game easier or more fun, from invincibility to stud multipliers. But finding them is not always straightforward. Here is where to look and what puzzles you need to solve.

In Gotham City's open world, Red Bricks are hidden inside specific challenge areas. The first one, the Stud Magnet, is found in the Industrial District. You need to switch to Robin and use his explosive gel on a cracked wall near the power plant. Inside, a simple platforming puzzle requires you to hit three switches in order. Miss the sequence and the platforms reset.

The Invincibility brick is trickier. Head to the Amusement Mile. Look for a large Joker-themed roller coaster cart. Use Batman's grapnel to pull it down, then have a character with super strength lift the cart. Underneath is a hatch. Inside, you face a timed puzzle where you must destroy ten Joker statues before the countdown ends. Use the Batmobile's missiles for speed.

For the 2x Studs multiplier, go to the Batcave. In the main hall, scan the computer console with your detective mode. This reveals a hidden corridor behind a bookcase. The puzzle here is a memory game: you must replicate a sequence of colored lights by stepping on the correct floor tiles. Get it right three times in a row and the brick appears.

Other bricks require specific characters. The Freeze enemies brick needs Mr. Freeze himself, unlocked later in the story. His ice beam can freeze a waterfall in the Iceberg Lounge, revealing a cave with a block-pushing puzzle. Push the blocks onto pressure plates to match a pattern shown on the wall.

Remember, you must collect the bricks in free play mode after finishing the story. Each brick costs a certain amount of studs to activate in the extras menu. Prioritize the stud multipliers first, as they help you buy everything else. With all 10 Red Bricks unlocked, you can turn Gotham into a playground of chaos and power.
