Microsoft has officially announced the next batch of games heading to its Game Pass subscription service, marking the first major update since the company quietly lowered the price of Game Pass Ultimate. The lineup includes 13 titles, headlined by three major releases: Forza Horizon 6, the narrative-driven adventure Mixtape, and the long-awaited Subnautica 2.
Forza Horizon 6 is expected to bring players to a brand-new open-world setting, continuing the series' tradition of high-speed racing and seasonal weather changes. While details remain scarce, the game is rumored to feature a dynamic map that shifts with real-world time. Mixtape, developed by a small independent studio, promises a story told through music and memory, blending exploration with a curated soundtrack. Subnautica 2, meanwhile, returns players to the deep ocean, expanding on the survival horror elements of its predecessor with new biomes and creatures.
The remaining ten titles span a mix of indie darlings, retro collections, and day-one releases. Xbox has not yet specified exact launch dates for each game, but confirmed they will roll out over the next few weeks. The announcement comes as Xbox continues to adjust its pricing strategy, aiming to attract new subscribers while retaining existing ones. The price drop for Game Pass Ultimate, which took effect earlier this month, has already sparked renewed interest in the service.
